Simply Spray Green Dye – Suitability
You can use Simply Spray to make tie-dyed garments whilst avoiding the hassle of standard liquid dyes. Just scrunch, spray, and that’s it. You can also use this type of paint for clothing, fabric shoes, curtains, lampshades, pillows and many other types of crafts. Why not have a look at the projects section to get more ideas on the sort of things you can make using Simply Spray.
It works on most textiles and natural fibres including cotton, rayon, canvas, leather and hemp. However if your undertaking a larger project, you can save money by using our upholstery paint (it’s the same formulation, but in a larger, more cost effective can).
There are many different fabrics available, unfortunately Simply Spray just will not work on all of them! So we recommend you carry out a quick test to see if it is suitable to use on your fabric. Ths is very easy, as typically if it can absorb water, then Simply Spray will work too.
If your fabric is coated in some way and water cannot be absorbed, then the Simply Spray fabric dye / fabric paint is not likely to be the right thing, so you might want to try a paint suitable for plastic and non-absorbent materials such as our vinyl spray, or if it’s leather, we also do a leather dye spray.
